The Bandit now sits at its rightful place on top of the heap, thanks to the Fictional Automobile World Cup. The website created a March Madness-style competition that narrowed down the greatest cars from film and TV. The Bandit was named the final champion - the car won with 52% of the vote, over the Delorean from BACK TO THE FUTURE.
The Bandit's path to the championship ran through the Landspeeder from Star Wars, James Bond's Aston Martin and the Bluesmobile from Blues Brothers.
The Delorean had to defeat the Truckster from Vacation, Herbie the Love Bugg, KITT and The Batmobile.
